Unfabled Raises $1.7M Seed Funding Round And Scales Boots Partnership
London-based Unfabled is rewriting the story of women’s health.
The women’s health and wellness company has raised $1.7 million in funding from early-stage venture capital firm Arāya Ventures, which was founded by managing partner Rupa Popat and backed by British Business Investments (BBI), and other unnamed investors. The round brings Unfabled’s total funding to $3.9 million. In February last year, Unfabled raised $1.6 million from Morgan Stanley Inclusive Ventures Group, Founders Factory and more. Prior to that, it secured $400,000 in angel funding.
Unfabled reports that 67% of the investment it’s received comes from female investors. According to founder Hannah Samano, several of the company’s previous investors participated in its recent seed funding round, and its revenues have multiplied more than 10X since the last funding round. She says, “That continued support is a huge vote of confidence in what we’re building.”
Along with the fresh capital, Unfabled is expanding from 50 to 737 Boots stores across the United Kingdom with six products from its Essentials range: Magnesium Superblend, Debloat Superblend, Collagen Gummies, Mushroom Superblend, Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies and Ashwagandha Gummies. Unfabled’s full range of 12 products is premiering this month on Boots’ website.
Samano believes Unfabled’s footprint at Boots heightens the visibility and accessibility of women’s health products. “[They’re] missing from shelves or sidelined altogether, treated as niche,” she says. “Partnering with Boots, the U.K.’s most trusted health destination, allows us to put women’s health center stage on the high street.”

Unfabled was part of Boots’ first-ever cohort for Ignite, the retailer’s accelerator for trending brands. At Boots, Samano says, “Seeing how well our products have performed and how they’re resonating with shoppers has been incredible…We’re now exploring additional retail partnerships for 2026 to continue scaling our mission to make women’s health products more visible, accessible and empowering than ever.”
Unfabled launched as an online marketplace in 2021 and its site remains its main distribution channel. Together with its namesake products, the online marketplace carries hundreds of women’s health and wellness essentials from over 80 vetted brands, including Maude, Dame, Wuka, Nodpod and Jude. Samano developed the Unfabled Essentials range to sit with Unfabled’s brand partners and fill gaps she identified in the market.
Unfabled Labs, the company’s community-led methodology to spot, test and validate trends before being rapidly translated into products, is at the heart of Unfabled’s product development process. The model is designed to ensure the innovations Unfabled brings to market are backed by both science and consumer demand. For the year ahead, Samano says Unfabled will focus on scaling its marketplace assortment while working with its community to launch Unfabled-branded products addressing unmet needs.
